Keimanan

Andaikan seribu siksaan
terus melambai-lambaikan derita yang mendalam
seujung rambut pun aku tak 'kan bimbang
jalan ini yang kutempuh

Bilakah ajal 'kan menjelang
jemput rindu-rindu syahid yang penuh kenikmatan
Cintaku hanya untuk-Mu
tetapkan muslimku selalu

Bilakah rembulan di tangan kiriku
tak 'kan sanggup mengganti imanku
jiwa dan raga ini apapun adanya

Andaikan seribu siksaan
terus melambai-lambaikan derita yang mendalam
seujung rambut pun aku tak 'kan bimbang
jalan ini yang kutempuh

Bilakah ajal 'kan menjelang
jemput rindu-rindu syahid yang penuh kenikmatan
cintaku hanya untuk-Mu
tetapkan muslimku selalu

Bilakah ajal 'kan menjelang
jemput rindu-rindu syahid yang penuh kenikmatan
cintaku hanya untuk-Mu
tetapkan muslimku selalu.....

Ayat-ayat Cinta

Desir pasir di padang tandus
Segar sang pemikiran hati
Terkisah ku di antara
Cinta yang rumit

Bila keyakinanku datang
Kasih bukan sekedar cinta
Pengorbanan cinta yang agung
Kupertaruhkan

Maafkan bila ku tak sempurna
Cinta ini tak mungkin ku cegah
Ayat-ayat cinta bercerita
Cintaku padamu

Bila bahagia mulai menyentuh
Seakan ku bisa hidup lebih lama
Namun harus kutinggalkan cinta
Ketika ku bersujud

Wanita & Epal

Aku masih suci, masih belum tercemar dgn tangan2 manusia. Apa sebenarnya kekurangan diriku?’, hatinya keliru, bingung.

Perasaan rendah diri mula menguasai dirinya… semakin hari semakin kuat. Kecewa, bimbang dan kemurungan sudah tak tertanggung. Lalu akhirnya tanpa berfikir panjang si epal pun menjatuhkan dirinya ke tanah. Bukan main gembira lg si epal kerana dia pasti sekejap lg pasti ada manusia yg datang mengambilnya.

Siang berganti malam, malam berganti siang. Si epal mulai risau kerana masih tiada seorg pun yg datang mengambilnya. Rakan2nya yg tergantung mudah dicapai tangan juga yg menjadi pilihan manusia. Si epal menjadi sedih… Hari berganti minggu. Akhirnya si epal menjadi busuk dan menjadi habuan ulat. Kasihan si epal…

Morale of the story: Wanita ibarat epal. Jangan sesekali merendahkan diri (seperti si epal) setelah Islam mengangkat martabat mu. Sifat malu itulah yg membezakan wanita Islam dgn wanita kafir. Sifat malu itu jugalah yg mengindahkan wanita. Kerana malu itu mahkota wanita Islam. Apabila hilangnya malu, maka hancurlah maruahnya… sanggup menjadi habuan lelaki2 yg ada penyakit dalam hatinya.

The Tale of a Leper, a Bald Man and a Blind Man

Narrated Abu Hurairah r.a that he heard Allah's Messenger s.a.w saying,
"Allah willed to test three Israelis who were a leper, a blind man and a bald headed man. So, He sent them an angel who came to the leper and said, 'What thing do you like most?' He replied, 'Good colour and good skin, for the people have a strong aversion to me.' The angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given a good colour and a beautiful skin. The angel asked him, 'What kind of property do you like best?' He replied, ' Camels.' So he (the leper) was given pregnant she-camel, and the angel said (to him), 'May Allah bless you in it.' The angel then went to the bald-headed man and said, 'What thing do you like most?' He said, 'I like good hair and wish to be cured from this disease, for the people feel repulsion for me.' The angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given good hair. The angel asked (him), 'What kind of property do you like best?' He replied, 'Cows.' The angel gave him a pregnant cow and said, 'May Allah bless in it.' The angel went to the blind man and asked, 'What thing do you like best?' He said, '(I like) that Allah may restore my eyesight to me so that I may see the people.' The angel touched his eyes and Allah gave him back his eyesight. The angel asked him,'What kind of property do like best?' He replied, 'Sheep.' The angel gave him a pregnant sheep. Afterwards, all the three pregnant animals gave birth to young ones, and multiplied and brought forth so much that one of the (three) men had a herd of camels filling a valley, and one had a herd of cows filling a valley, and one had a flock of sheep filling a valley. Then the angel, disguised in the shape and appearance of a leper, went to the leper and said, 'I am a poor man, who has lost all means of livelihood while on a journey. So none will satisfy my need except Allah and then you. In the Name of Him Who has given you such nice colour and beautiful skin, and so much property, I ask you to give me a camel so that I may reach my destination.' The man replied, 'I have many obligations (so I cannot give you).' The angel said, ' I think I know you. Were you not a leper to whom the people had a strong aversion? Weren't you a poor man, and then Allah gave you (all this property).' He replied, '(This is all wrong), I got this property through inheritance from my forefathers.' The angel said, 'If you are telling a lie then let Allah make you as you were before.' Then the angel, disguised in the shape and appearance of a bald man, went to the bald man and said to him the same as he told the first one, and he too answered the same as the first one did. The angel said, 'If you are telling a lie, then let Allah make you as you were before.' The angel, disguised in the shape of a blind man, went to the blind man and said, 'I am poor man and a traveller, whose means of livelihood have been exhausted while on journey. I have nobody to help me except Allah, and after Him, you yourself. I ask you in the Name of Him Who has given you back your eyesight to give me a sheep, so that with its help, I may complete my journey.' The man said, 'No doubt, I was blind and Allah gave me back my eyesight; I was poor and Allah made me rich; so take anything you wish from my property. By Allah, I will not stop you for taking anything (you need) of my property which you may take for Allah's sake.' The angel replied, 'Keep your property with you. You (i.e., three men) have been tested and Allah is pleased with you and is angry with your two companions.'"
(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 4, Hadith No. 670)

The Seed of the Morning

Allah opened her heart for the Da'wah to Islam, so she opens her house for weekly Islamic lectures and lessons. Every week since then, she gives a lesson she prepares or invites another sister to give a lecture and invites many sisters to attend this lessons. After every lessons, she sells books and tapes about Islam and proper Hijjab for Muslim women. Whatever she earns from these sells, she gives to the orphans, the poor and other charity projects.

Everyday before she starts her housework, she reads one page from the Quran, then starts her regular housework with a good heart and invokes Allah for forgiveness.

She frequently raises her hands to heaven invoking Allah for guidance and glory for the Muslim Nation. She tries to invoke Allah during the recommended times and begs Him with a heart certain in the deliverance. She once asked her female relative, "When was the last time you invoked Allah with humility and humbleness?". She replied,"Months pass before I invoke Allah with sincere heart. I frequently invoke Him, but that invocation is often without humbleness or humility; these feelings have almost vanished from our invocation of Allah!"

She restricts her use of telephone to keeping good ties to her relatives, enjoing righteousness, forbidding evil and (occasionally) for ordinary tasks of life.

Allah has given her great wealth, and she often thanks and praises Him for His bounties and favors. She has several servants and makes good use of them by helping them cook a large amount of light meals and distributes them to working mothers for a minimal price. She then gives away what she earns for charity causes.

Even though she is still very young, whenever she starts the prayer, her family knows that her prayer will not end soon! She strives to offer the prayer perfectly and on time, often extending it seeking Allah's pleasure. She does not pray fast as some people do, who prays as fast as a cock picks seeds from the ground!

Whenever she can, she listens to the Quran station, which broadcasts Quran recitation, Islamic lectures and good words of advice. What she hears dispels loneliness, repels the devils and fills her house with tranquility and mercy.

She visits women's workshops carrying Islamic books in Arabic and other languages and distributes them to the workers and visitors of these shops. Her efforts are modest, but several women has embraced Islam as a result. How many women do the same as this good Muslim woman?
